INDOT announces road closure 
We just received this notification from INDOT this afternoon.
Indiana Department of Transportation announces a temporary closure on State Road 26 between Middlefork and Russiaville.
Beginning on or after Tuesday, April 2, crews will close S.R. 26 between the S.R. 26/S.R. 29 intersection and the Clinton/Howard County line.
During the closure, crews will be resurfacing the road and adding drainage improvements. Work is expected to last a couple of months but is weather permitting and subject to change.
The official detour around the construction zone is from S.R. 29 to S.R. 28 to U.S. 31.
INDOT encourages all drivers to seek an alternate route around the closure and use caution while traveling through and around work zones.
