April 5, 2024 - Earlier this morning, around 5:24AM, Novato Police Officers responded to the Days Inn on a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived and contacted the person involved.  

Further investigation revealed that the man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and he was identified as Marshall Brooks, a 38-year-old Antioch resident. Following his arrest, a “Ghost Gun” (a manufactured firearm) and narcotics were located. He was safely booked into the Marin County Jail for the warrant, possession of a “Ghost Gun”, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.

This is a great example of why it is important for our community members to report suspicious circumstances, as they are occurring. We are thankful for a positive outcome in this situation, as our officers were able to quickly intervene and stop additional crimes from occurring.
