Are you interested in taking a more active role in crime prevention and safety in your neighborhood? Join us as we introduce South River's Neighborhood Watch program. The kickoff meeting takes place on Thursday, April 25^th at 6:00 PM at the South River VFW (31 Reid Street).
 
Attendees are requested to register by visiting tinyurl.com/SRNWmeeting or www.southriverpd.org prior to the meeting.
 
South River's Neighborhood Watch Program is a joint effort between the police department and community members with the goal of preventing crime through:

• Awareness
• Open Communication
• Education
• Prevention Plans
• Information Sharing
• Community Engagement

Following the kickoff meeting, South River Neighborhood Watch meetings will be held periodically. Meeting dates will be announced prior to each meeting.
 
The South River Neighborhood Watch Program is one of many no cost programs offered to residents by the South River Police Department. Other programs include:

• Home Security Inspections

• Special Needs Registry
• Business Registration Program
