Flood Warning until 09:30PM Sunday 
This warning replaces the previous areal flood warnings across Southeast Kansas.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Allen, Elk, Greenwood, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson.
* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1237 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 3 and 9 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Parsons, Chanute, Iola, Eureka, Neodesha, Fredonia, Humboldt, Yates Center, Erie, Madison, St. Paul, La Harpe, Gas, Moran, Thayer, Altoona, Longton, Toronto, Hamilton and Severy.
* AFFECTED AREAS: ALLEN, KS ... ELK, KS ... GREENWOOD, KS ... NEOSHO, KS ... WILSON, KS ... WOODSON, KS
Instructions:
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.
