Interested in becoming a public servant, such as a law enforcement officer, detention officer, paramedic, fire marshal, telecommunicator, or a volunteer at a fire department? Then join us for a meet and greet on June 11, 2024 at the Emergency Services Building at 3169 NC 8 Hwy S Walnut Cove, NC. On site will be representatives from each organization for you to talk with.
 
The Sheriff’s Office looks forward to meeting with anyone that is high school age and older and wants to know more about employment with the Office of the Sheriff. We are looking to hire patrol officers, bailiffs, and detention officers. We will have staff on hand from the jail and patrol to answer any questions you may have.
 
If you are a Stokes County resident and interested in going to Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET), then stop by and see us. You may be eligible for a paid sponsorship.
