Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for information in connection to the shooting incident that occurred on Friday, June 7, 2024, during a graduation party in Lobeco.
 
Deputies were called to Horace Dawson Lane at about 11 p.m. after the Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple reports of gunfire.
 
Once on scene, deputies located a 38-year-old female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. They quickly learned of three other victims, a 17-year-old female, 20-year-old female and 21-year-old male, all who left the area to seek medical attention for their injuries. All victims suffered from non-life-threatening injuries.
 
It was learned the suspects showed up to the party and began shooting resulting in the four individuals who were injured, as well as property damage. Investigators also learned that many of the party attendees had left the area prior to their arrival.
 
At this time, investigators are requesting anyone who may have been at the party on Friday night, or those who may have information as it relates to the incident, to report it.
