A Message from Mayor Peter Guindi

A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR PETER GUINDI

As you are likely aware, in the coming days we are expected to experience a heat wave with high temperatures and humidity. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Also, check on your neighbors, especially the elderly.

Remember, it is important to stay hydrated. Think carefully about engaging in outside activities in the highest temperatures of the day.

Please be mindful of conserving electricity. For example, use your washers and dryers in the morning or evening. Don't leave your air conditioners on a high setting if no one is at home.

While conserving electricity, please also be conservative with your water usage. Heavy usage can contribute to discoloration of the water. Please don't waste water; particularly during a heat wave.

Thank you for taking the proper precautions to help us all get through the coming high temperatures. Please stay cool and hydrated and remember to check on one another. Thank you.
