*Happening during the Farmers Market Event. Plan ahead with parking alternatives or ride shares. Machin Ave will remain open to through traffic during the event. Parking is available in and around the Downtown area on adjacent streets and public parking lots.

**ROAD CLOSURE: Tomorrow (6/18), Sherman Ave (between Grant/De Long) will be closed from 2PM – 10PM and the road closures will continue every Tuesday through the end of October (10/29).**
 
6/20: Rock the Block Summer Kickoff Event   
Location: Grant Ave (between Machin + Reichert)

**ROAD CLOSURES: Thursday (6/20)**

• Grant Ave (between Machin + Reichert) closed from 4PM – 10PM
• Sherman Ave (between De Long + Grant) closed from 1PM – 10PM
• Cain Lane will remain OPEN.  

 
GENERAL INFO:
TRAVEL: You can walk, bike, drive, or take public transit — the choice is yours! The event locations are just a train or bus ride away and are conveniently located between the Novato Downtown SMART Station and the Redwood Boulevard/Grant Avenue Transit Station. Additionally, bike racks are available near the market on Sherman Avenue at Cain Lane and in the City Administrative Offices Parking Lot.

PUBLIC PARKING LOTS: Parking locations have been outlined on the attached map.

• Depot Lot at the Novato Downtown SMART Station
• Whole Foods Garage; Floor 2
• City Administrative Offices Lot at 922 Machin Avenue
• City Administrative Offices Underground Lot at Cain Lane; after 5pm only

TRAFFIC: We remind our community members of the potential impacts on traffic during commute times in the immediate area. Expect traffic delays and use alternative routes when necessary. An increase of pedestrians is expected during the closure times. REMEMBER to drive safe, slow, and keep an eye out, as families and small children may be crossing roadways for both events. Do not park in driveways, restricted parking areas, or in red zones. The community’s patience is greatly appreciated.
