Pearland debris removal will begin Thursday, July 18. Starting Thursday, July 18, storm debris pickup will begin in Pearland. Crews will prioritize construction and demolition (C&D) debris first while preparation of the vegetative debris site is finalized. Please ensure debris is sorted accordingly. Key Points: • Phased Pickup: Initially focusing on C&D debris (fencing, large construction debris, etc.). • Zones: The city is divided into 5 zones, each with two trucks. • Multiple Passes: Trucks will make multiple passes in each zone to give residents time to bring debris to the curb. • Working Hours: Crews will work from 7 AM to 7PM • Priority: Large debris (both C&D and vegetative) will be prioritized; any bagged debris will be picked up later. • Traffic Impact: Haul vehicles will be in the right-of-way starting tomorrow. Please be patient as traffic may be slightly impacted by slow-moving vehicles and please remember to not block debris piles.
