As a result of the City’s most recent speed survey, the below changes will soon go into effect:
Airbase Parkway will be changed to 50MPH.
Beck Avenue (from SR 12 to West Texas Street) will be changed to 35MPH.
Business Center Drive will be changed to 40MPH.
Cement Hill (from North Texas Street to Dover Ave) will be changed to 25MPH.
E. Tabor (from North Texas Street to Sunset Ave) will be changed to 30MPH.
E. Tabor (from Sunset Ave to Claybank Road) will be changed to 25MPH.
E. Travis (from North Texas Street to Sunset Ave) will be changed to 30MPH.
North Texas Street will be changed to 30MPH.
West Texas Street (Oliver Road to Pennsylvania Ave) will be changed to 30MPH.
Pennsylvania Ave will be changed to 30MPH.
Travis Blvd (I-80 to Pennsylvania Ave) will be changed to 30MPH.
Travis Blvd (Pennsylvania Ave to North Texas Street) will remain 35MPH.
Public Works is approximately 50 percent done with the changes, which means you should keep a close eye out to ensure you are in compliance with the posted limit.
