GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the Department of Public Works, will be conducting milling work on Young Street from Taylor St. to Somerville St. and Jewett St. from Somerville St. to Young St. The milling work is scheduled to begin on August 13th, 2024, and will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. During the milling operations, the street will be closed, so we encourage travelers to find alternative routes.

Please plan your activities accordingly and, if possible, avoid the construction zone. It would be helpful to use alternate routes during this period. Detour routes will be available to guide traffic.
