This is a reminder that 2024 3^rd quarter property tax payments are due by Tuesday, September 10^th. If you have made your payment already, please disregard this message.

2024-2025 property tax information is available online and bills were mailed the middle of August. The extended grace period for 3^rd quarter is until September 10^th.

Homeowners that make online payments through their bank’s websites must list your tax account number, NOT BLOCK AND LOT. (Ex. 000123456)

Homeowners must take into consideration that the date of receipt from the town is an estimate from the bank and is not always guaranteed. Please schedule your payments with enough time in the event of an unexpected delay in order to avoid late payments.

Payments made during the day should be brought to the Tax Collector’s payment window in the front lobby of the Municipal Building, 475 DeMott Lane.

There is a drop box outside the Public Safety Building for tax and water payments. This is for “after hour” payments made by checks. NO CASH should be put into the drop box. Pickup will be at 8:30 a.m. in the morning.
