9/8 is National 988 Day
“No Judgment - Just Help” is the theme for the first annual 988 Day. The 988 Lifeline, which has been around for two years, is a national hotline for individuals to receive immediate help for mental health, alcohol, and substance use crises. Veterans who call 988 will be connected to a hotline specifically for veterans if they so choose. Feeling hopeless and nowhere to turn? The 988 Lifeline connects you to FREE and confidential support.
Call 988, text 988 or visit 988lifeline.org. Individuals can also use a chat feature and ASL is available. Remember, you are not alone.
