Sheriff’s Office investigating two shootings 
On Sunday night, September 15, 2024, shortly after 10 p.m., the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Communications Center received reports of shots fired in the Magnolia Park Apartments located in the Laurel Bay Rd area of Burton.
Deputies responded and found three juvenile victims. The victims were found on scene suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims later succumbed to their injuries.
Early this morning, September 16, 2024, around 4:20 a.m., deputies responded to Community Center Rd. in Dale in reference to shots fired. A residence in the area was struck multiple times by gunfire, but no one was reported to be injured.
The circumstances that led to these two incidents remain under investigation. Anyone with information regarding these cases are asked to call the lead investigator, Master Sergeant Duncan at 843-255-3418. Information can also be submitted online at BCSO.NET.
