The City of Amsterdam announces that due to road work on Steadwell Avenue the following road closure and detour will take place Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. until work is complete:
- Steadwell Avenue (North bound lane ONLY) from Guy Park Avenue to Golf Course Road will be closed;
- St. Mary’s Hospital Emergency Room Entrance will be accessible from the Guy Park Avenue entrance.
Signs and DPW personnel will be posted.
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes during this time, as no traffic will be allowed through the work zone.
