Road Closures and Flooding in Stokes County 
Traveling conditions throughout the county continue to deteriorate. If you do not need to be out, do not. Stay home. Currently Moore Springs Rd is closed at Talley Rd, Franklin Moore Rd is closed, and Bethesda Church Rd is closed. In the Lawsonville community it is being reported that the area has received over 5 inches of rain today so far and it is still raining hard. The Pine Hall/ Madison community needs to be prepared for additional flooding as the water travels down stream.
Please keep your deputies, EMS staff, DOT workers, and volunteer firemen in your prayers as they are responding to calls during this storm to help their communities.
