On Monday, 9/23, Public Works will go to all addresses from which we do not have Lead Service Inventory reports and place these yellow door hangers on their doors. On Tuesday, 9/24, Public Works will begin going to each home without responses between 5 PM and 7 PM. They will have to enter the property, look at the meter, and do the inventory themselves—this will only take a few minutes, and we will only be able to enter the homes if someone 18 years old or older is available.
The Lead Service Inventory is a requirement mandated by the EPA and DNR.
