Road construction on West Texas Street from Curtis Drive to Pennsylvania Avenue starting today. 
As part of the West Texas Complete Streets Project, the City of Fairfield will replace the old water main along West Texas Street from just west of Curtis Drive to Pennsylvania Avenue starting today.
The Utility Relocation Project will involve installing a new water main on the north side of the street and new water, irrigation, and fire hydrant services for all adjacent properties.
During construction, you may experience temporary driveway access restrictions, noise, dust, and poor air quality. For your safety, please pay attention to posted signs and flaggers. Construction will occur Monday - Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.
