Prescription drop off event announcement.

Simi Valley Police Department will be collaborating with the Drug Enforcement Administration to take back outdated, unused, and unwanted medications. 

This event is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM and will end promptly at 2:00 PM. 

This event will take place in the front parking lot of Simi Valley Police Department, 3901 Alamo Street, Simi Valley, CA.

Acceptable items to deposit: prescription medication pills, over-the-counter pills, and pill form pet prescription medication.

Items NOT accepted: No liquids; No creams; No vape devices or vape products; No intravenous solutions; No IV bags; No oxygen tanks; No nebulizer machines; No inhalers; No thermometers; No sharps; and, no lancets. 

How to dispose of unwanted medications: 

• Empty contents into a clear sealable bag. (Remove personal identification from pill bottles and recycle from home)
