Today’s Outdoor Warning System Siren TEST. No action required.
Today, Thursday, October 17th at 10:30 a.m., the City will be testing our new Outdoor Warning System and ALL 12 sirens will be activated to coincide with the nationwide emergency campaign, the Great ShakeOut.
With recent disasters impacting the greater US, we are reminded now more than ever of the importance of preparedness. Emergency preparedness is a community wide effort and preparing in advance of a disaster helps to build a more prepared and more resilient community. If you ever feel unsafe or observe any sort of danger, don’t wait, evacuate!
As a reminder, you do not need to take any action during these tests.
