Red Flag Warning Issued for Marin County
A Red Flag Warning has been issued for most of Marin County, and will be going into effect at 11:00pm Thursday 10/17 through 5:00pm Saturday 10/19. Strong offshore winds and dry conditions make for extreme wildfire danger. If you see smoke, call 9-1-1 to report it.

A Red Flag Warning signals the highest fire risk, where any spark can become a dangerous wildfire. Prepare now to protect yourself, your family, and your community.
Safety Tips for Red Flag Days:
• No campfires or open flames.
• Avoid using tools or equipment that can spark fires.
• Dispose of cigarettes properly.
• Don’t park vehicles on dry grass.
• Stay alert if you're hiking or visiting open parks!
