* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Eastern Elk County in southeastern Kansas... Western Wilson County in southeastern Kansas... Northwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Kansas... Southwestern Woodson County in southeastern Kansas... Southeastern Greenwood County in southeastern Kansas...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 651 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Howard to near Moline to 8 miles southwest of Elk Falls, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Neodesha, Fredonia, Longton, Toronto, Severy, Fall River, Benedict, New Albany, Coyville, Buxton, Batesville, Toronto Lake, Fall River State Park, Fall River Lake, and Cross Timbers State Park.
