UPDATE as of 11:50 a.m.: Our searches of Gunn High School and Palo Alto High School are complete. No threats were found. Police and school officials have lifted the shelter-in-place and students will be dismissed as usual this afternoon.

Officers are on scene at Gunn High School at 780 Arastradero Road and Palo Alto High School at 50 Churchill Avenue investigating unconfirmed threats towards the school campuses.
All students and staff are safe at this time and sheltering place while officers investigate. As we get accurate information to share, we will post it to our X account at X.com/paloaltopolice. More information will follow at the end of the incident, which we will post here on Nixel also.
