Full Notification

At around 7:45 PM on November 29, 2024, a Simi Valley Police Officer located a stolen vehicle in the city.  The vehicle entered the 118 freeway toward Los Angeles and fled at speeds of over 100 mph.  An LAPD Airship joined the pursuit and was able to track it into West Hollywood while SVPD officers stopped following.  The driver and passenger of the stolen vehicle later fled from the car and were apprehended shortly after by several LAPD Officers.  SVPD Officers responded to the scene and took custody of both subjects.  They were both arrested for various charges including, but not limited to, reckless driving, felony evading, and driving a stolen vehicle.  The driver was identified as Ronnie Ray Moore (20 years old) from Corona, CA, and the passenger was identified as Jason Yanez Guzman (21 years old) from San Diego, CA.
