The City of Amsterdam announces that due to a water shut down today, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, THE RESIDENTS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS WILL NEED TO BOIL THEIR WATER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE ONCE THE WATER IS TURNED BACK ON:
The Entire South Side of the City Amsterdam excluding the following streets:
Broadway
Windswept Drive
Queen Anne Road
Also not included is the Town of Florida
BRING YOUR WATER TO A ROLLING BOIL AND BOIL FOR 1 MINUTE.

Southside of Amsterdam experiencing low to no water pressure. DPW is working to fix the problem. There will be a BOIL WATER advisory once service is restored.
