Attention North Brunswick Residents:
We are aware of recent reports of drone sightings in New Jersey. Our township is actively collaborating with Federal and State law enforcement agencies to identify these drones and determine who is operating them and for what purpose.
If you observe any drone activity, please report it to the FBI tip line at
1 800-CALL-FBI. If it is safe to do so, capturing video of the drones can be highly valuable to the investigation.
Please note that North Brunswick is located in the flight path for aircraft landing at Newark International Airport. As such, many reported sightings are determined to be airplanes rather than drones.
At this time, there is no known threat associated with these drones. Thank you for your vigilance and support as we continue to address this matter with our law enforcement partners.
