Stokes County Government Closing Early - 1/10/25 
Stokes County Government will be closing today at 12pm. This means that the administrative offices of the Sheriff will be closing at 12pm. We have checked with our deputies and jail staff and made sure we are prepared. Your deputies are out there to assist where they are needed, and our jail staff is prepared to cover all shifts of the jail. This storm will impact the area during the travel time for citizens returning home from work. Please plan on delays and slow down. Keep an eye out for emergency workers and tow truck drivers and give them plenty of room to work.
