...High Fire Danger Friday... .Gusty winds, dry fuels and low relative humidity will lead to high fire danger conditions across southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois today. The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 7 PM CDT this evening.
* Affected Area...In Illinois, Fire Weather Zones 080, 084, 085, 088, 089, 092 and 093.
* Winds...Southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* Relative Humidity...As low as 23 percent.
* 10 Hour Fuels...as low as 6 percent.
* Impacts...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
