Park Construction Corporation will continue construction activities on the Christian Brook Sewer Separation project during the week of March 31st through April 4th.
Crew 1: Will start replacing sewer manholes and sewer pipe and installing new drain manholes, catch basins and drainage pipe at the intersection of Maple Street and Webster Avenue. Maple Street will be closed to through traffic between North Street and Webster Street, and Webster Street will be closed to all traffic between Ash Street and Oak Street with detour signage and police details on site to direct traffic around the construction zone.
Following this work the contractor will continue to install new drainage structures and pipe on Maple Street at the North Street intersection progressing towards Webster Ave. During this work the North Street detour will still be in effect, but Webster Ave will be open to traffic.
Starting on April 7th, the contractor’s subcontractor will start rehabilitation of the sewers in the Smyth Road School area on streets including: Sagamore, Birchwood, Blodget, High Ridge and Hillcrest Streets. Notices to affected residents will be provided by the installer as the work progresses.
