* At 344 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Bloomington to Latham, moving northeast at 55
mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Kenney, Wapella, Downs, Maroa, Heyworth, Clinton, and Bloomington
around 350 PM CDT.
Le Roy around 355 PM CDT.
Colfax around 400 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Weldon, Saybrook, Farmer City, De Land and Mansfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central
Illinois.
