The Teen Speak virtual parent workshops, brought to you by Empower Somerset and the Franklin Township Stigma-Free Council, will be held on Wednesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 30 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Attendees who complete both sessions and brief survey will receive a $25 gift card.
 
Developed by Dr. Jennifer Salerno, Teen Speak provides parents and caregivers the skills necessary to open the lines of communication between parents/caregivers and their teens focusing on topics such as sex, mental health, and substance use. A parent’s influence has a significant impact on the decisions teenagers are faced with every day. Learn how to create a healthy, loving environment that fosters growth to help your teen make safer, more informed decisions as they continue into adulthood.
