GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will be performing pavement milling on Somerville Street from Belmont Street to Fremont Street on Friday  April 25th 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During this period, access to Somerville Street will be limited, and parking will be prohibited during construction hours. Travelers are encouraged to use Hayward Street as an alternate route. Drivers should follow posted detour signs and allow extra time for potential delays.

Please plan your activities accordingly and avoid the construction zone if possible. While we aim to minimize disruptions, be prepared for possible delays and limited access to properties in the area.
