GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will be performing base paving on Thursday, May 8, 2025, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Work will take place on Varney Street, from Mast Road to Rockland Ave, and on Rockland Ave, from College Avenue to Varney Street. 

During this period, access to these street will be limited, and parking will be prohibited during construction hours. Travelers are encouraged to use Mast Road  as an alternate route. Drivers should follow posted detour signs and allow extra time for potential delays.

Please plan your activities accordingly and avoid the construction zone if possible. While we aim to minimize disruptions, be prepared for possible delays and limited access to properties in the area.
