Fanklin Township Stigma-Free Council Presents Stand Together: Veterans Suicide Awareness 
Please join the Franklin Township Stigma-Free Council, in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, for Stand Together: Veterans Suicide Awareness, a special presentation by Bradley Jacobs, LCSW, Suicide Prevention Coordinator for the Veterans Health Administration of New Jersey. Mr. Jacobs will be on hand to discuss the Department of Veterans Affairs suicide prevention services, how to access them, and what the department provides. He will also cover what you can do if a friend or loved one is a veteran and may be struggling with mental health and/or substance use issues.
Bradley Jacobs, LCSW, is a dedicated social worker with over 20 years of experience advancing behavioral health and social services that prioritize participant choice, support recovery, and promote overall wellbeing. Guided by a deep commitment to service and social justice, Bradley has consistently aligned his career with organizations whose missions reflect his passion for empowering vulnerable populations. In his current role, he leads efforts to improve outcomes for at-risk veterans. Prior to his work with the VA, Bradley held key leadership roles in New York City's behavioral health nonprofit sector, including Director of Practice Innovation at Services for the UnderServed (S:US), Director of The Center for Rehabilitation & Recovery, and a decade-long tenure at CASES, supporting alternatives to incarceration for individuals with behavioral health needs involved in the criminal-legal system. Bradley is also a seasoned instructor and public speaker, recognized for his expertise in best practices in behavioral health. He earned his Master of Social Work from the New York University School of Social Work in 2001.
