TRAFFIC ALERT: Memorial Day Parade 
The Borough of South River will be holding its annual Memorial Day Parade today, May 26th. The parade kicks off at 1:00 PM. All residents are invited to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country.
Residents and business owners are reminded to display your American flags in support of our country's heroes.
The parade route is as follows: beginning on Hillside Avenue near Main Street, right onto Main Street, right onto Jackson Street, left onto Ferry Street, left onto Main Street, ending on Main Street near the War Memorial Building. Parking restrictions will be in effect on these streets. Please follow the posted signs.
Motorists should expect traffic delays in the areas surrounding the parade route and plan an alternate route, if possible.
The South River Police Department wishes everyone a safe Memorial Day as we remember and honor those who have made the the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
