Franklin Township, NJ — Mark your calendars! Franklin Township’s 2nd Annual Pride Celebration is set to return bigger and better than ever. Join us on Saturday, June 7, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Franklin Township Performance Gazebo for an afternoon filled with music, community, and celebration.

This year’s event promises an expanded lineup of live musical performances, food and craft vendors, and community resource tables—all united in support of our LGBTQIA+ residents, families, businesses, allies, and friends. 

Celebration hosts, Councilmember Ed Potosnak and Mayor Phillip Kramer, shared their thoughts on the upcoming event, “We are excited to host the second annual Franklin Pride celebration to reaffirm the Township as inclusive and welcoming community,” said Councilmember Ed Potosnak. “With performances by the Franklin Band, Villagers Theatre cast of Matilda, the Franklin Township Band, and NJ Gay Men’s Chorus as well as remarks from special guests, allies, and elected officials.”  "There will be free ice cream--while supplies last--food vendors, a community resource fair, arts and crafts vendors, and family friendly performances, we hope to see you there,” Potosnak concluded. 

Mayor Phillip Kramer further noted that the event was slated to be, “Another example of the diversity, acceptance, and inclusion that is Franklin Township. It's going to be a fun event.” 

As one of the most diverse communities in the region, Franklin Township proudly stands in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. This celebration is more than an event—it is a heartfelt expression of our shared values: love, inclusion, identity, and unity. It’s also a powerful reminder that hate has no home here. 

Don't forget your reusable bottles for water. Bring your lawnchairs and sunscreen.

The rain location will be at the Township Municipal Building.
