Construction starting for the LA River Area Improvement Project! Use alternate routes beginning this week. 
Beginning this week and continuing for approximately three weeks, northbound traffic along River Road will experience intermittent lane closures as part of the LA River Area Improvement Project. The closures will occur in segments, moving gradually south from Clara Street.
Work hours are scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes to avoid delays during the construction period.
