At 629 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Blanchardville, or 15 miles northeast of Darlington, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Western Madison, Fitchburg, Verona, Oregon, Belleville, New Glarus, Brooklyn, Monticello, Dayton, Mount Vernon, Henry Vilas Zoo, and Paoli. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 18 between mile markers 73 and 84. U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 258 and 261.
