Flood Warning until 02:15AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of South Central and Southeast Kansas, including the following counties, in South Central Kansas, Butler. In Southeast Kansas, Elk, Greenwood and Woodson.

* WHEN...Until 215 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 812 PM CDT, Flooding is ongoing in the warned area due to heavy rainfall earlier Today. This replaces the flash flood warming that was in effect. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eureka, Yates Center, Leon, Toronto, Hamilton, Severy, Fall River, Neosho Falls, Latham, Climax, Virgil, Eureka Airport, Fall River Lake, Fall River State Park, Eureka City Lake, Cross Timbers State Park, Toronto Lake, Batesville, Piedmont and Beaumont.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BUTLER, KS ... ELK, KS ... GREENWOOD, KS ... WOODSON, KS

Instructions:

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.
