Wanted Hilton Head Island man located and taken into custody 
UPDATE: At about 8 p.m. last night, deputies located and arrested Austin Radel.

As of 2:50 p.m., today, June 10, 2025, deputies are searching for 39-year-old Austin Jared Radel of Hilton Head Island. This search is in the areas of Squire Pope, Wild Horse, and Gumtree Roads.
Radel is described as 5'8", 165 lbs., and was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray pants and black hat.
Anyone who sees Radel is asked to call 9-1-1.
