The city is planning to replace the joint repairs on Cook Road between Mack and Wedgweood. The repairs are temporary measures to improve the ride quality and extend the useful life of the road until the planned reconstruction scheduled in the upcoming years.
 
Weather permitting, the contractor will begin repairs on Monday, June 16 at 7:00am starting on the south side of the road at Mack working east. Once the south side is completed, the process will be repeated on the north side starting near Wedgewood working west. Weather permitting, the work is expected to take up to seven working days.
 
The work will be conducted under a rolling lane closure while the traffic is regulated in both directions on the other side of the road under flag control. Due to the traffic control required to safely perform the work, significant delays can be expected while crews are working on the repairs. Please plan to modify your route to avoid the area as much as possible.
