ROAD CLOSURE ALERT

NC 226 South at US 64 is closed to all traffic due to a bridge closure for safety assessment. US 64 remains open for through traffic.

NCDOT is on site and working to clearly mark the detour route and place signage.

Drivers should check DriveNC.gov for the latest detour information and closure updates.

This closure will remain in place for an undetermined amount of time. Please plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
