Jackson College Weather Advisory: The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Watch for Jackson County starting June 21st, 2025 @8AM until June 24th, 2025 @8PM EST.

There will be dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 100-105 degrees possible. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.

Please take precautionary/preparedness actions. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
