Independence Day Safety Reminder

As we prepare for July 4th celebrations, the City of Beverly Hills urges all residents and visitors to stay safe.

Fireworks Are ILLEGAL in Beverly Hills

Fireworks pose significant fire risks and can cause severe injuries. Thousands of people, including children, are injured by fireworks each year.

Safety Tips:

  • Leave fireworks to the professionals.
  • Never allow children to handle fireworks or sparklers.
  • Call 9-1-1 if you see illegal fireworks displays or unsafe behavior.
For more safety information, visit NFPA Fireworks Safety Resources at www.nfpa.org

In addition, with hot weather conditions, we encourage you to stay hydrated and avoid dangerous behavior.  Also, with all the barbeques, please be mindful of cooking accidents and heat-related illnesses.
