4TH OF JULY:
Novato's Annual 4th of July Parade is scheduled for Friday, July 4^th, 2025 at 10am on Grant Ave. The parade will begin on Grant Ave at Reichert Ave and end at 7th St and Grant Ave. Some or all of following streets will be closed to all traffic, from approximately 6am - 2pm on Friday, July 4, 2025:

• Grant Ave from Railroad Ave to 7th St
• Vallejo Ave from Redwood Blvd to Machin Ave
• Machin Ave from Vallejo Ave to Sweetser Ave
• Sweetser Ave from Machin Ave to Reichert Ave
• Reichert Ave from DeLong Ave to Sweetser Ave
• Railroad Ave at Olive Ave 
• Scott Ct
• Sherman Ave
• Blodget Ln

Parking in and around the Downtown area is available on adjacent streets and public parking lots. The Novato Police Department will be working these events to reasonably accommodate any traffic related issues. If you are not planning to attend the parade, please avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible. We request those who cannot avoid the area to allow plenty of time for travel. Traffic will be diverted from Redwood Blvd onto DeLong Ave and Vallejo Ave.
