Mayor Womack message: Ways to help those affected by catastrophic flooding in Central Texas
From Mayor Mac Womack:
While we have enjoyed beautiful weather for the 4th of July weekend in North Brunswick, Central Texas received heavy rainfall that has resulted in catastrophic flash flooding. Kerr County and the surrounding area report at least 24 deaths and many missing persons.
Rescue missions continue across Central Texas and the area braces for even more rain. For any of us looking for ways to contribute, the Austin Monthly magazine has posted of growing list of local organizations that are giving back to the relief effort. This is a growing list—please check Austin Monthly on Instagram for updates.
