Special Weather Statement until 05:00PM

At 418 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Rockton, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Beloit, South Beloit, Newark, Tiffany, Foxhollow, Shopiere, and Afton. This includes the following highways... Interstate 39/90 between mile markers 177 and 187. Interstate 43 between mile markers 0 and 5.
