This is to inform you that MS4 Contract 01 Drainage Improvements has begun as of July 1st, 2025. P. Gioioso and Sons, Inc., the contractor for the Environmental Protection Division of the Department of Public Works (DPW), will be performing utility work near 52 Elm Street, starting on Monday, July 14th, 2025 and ending on Friday, August 15th, 2025. Construction will take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., (weather dependent).

During this construction period, on-street parking may be impacted during work hours. Access to residential properties and businesses will be maintained throughout the duration of the work. There is no anticipated full road closure of Elm Street at this time. Additional advisory notices will be distributed if a full road closure is required. A temporary partial closure of the southbound turn lane onto Brown Avenue for utility work along the road shoulder may be needed, however, travelers will still be able to access Brown Avenue. 

Travelers are encouraged to stay alert and to please follow all posted signage and allow extra travel time for potential delays.

We kindly ask that you plan your activities accordingly and avoid the construction zone whenever possible. While we aim to minimize disruptions, some delays and temporary limitations on access should be expected.
