East Branch Pecatonica River Near Blanchardville affecting Lafayette County. Pecatonica River At Darlington affecting Lafayette County. .Two to four inches of rain has fallen and will likely cause flooding on portions of the East Branch of the Pecatonica River and the Pecatonica River on Saturday.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Branch Pecatonica River near Blanchardville.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Floodwaters cover a portion of Highway H and floodwaters are into McKellar Park in Blanchardville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 9.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 11.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.1 feet on 05/25/2024. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
