Paving on Ward Street and McCarthy Street: July 16–18 
GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the City of Manchester’s Department of Public Works (DPW), will be paving on Ward Street and McCarthy Street from Wednesday , July 16, 2025, through Friday July 18, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.
During this construction period, road access will be limited, and on-street parking will be prohibited during work hours. However, access to residential properties will be maintained throughout the duration of the work.
Travelers are encouraged to use Eve Street as an alternate route. Please follow all posted detour signs and allow extra travel time for potential delays.
We kindly ask that you plan your activities accordingly and avoid the construction zone whenever possible. While we aim to minimize disruptions, some delays and temporary limitations on access should be expected.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve the community’s infrastructure.
